Credentialing specialist

Responsibilities consist of the following:

  • Gather and document account information
  • Handle individual risk/transaction inquiries from brokers and make appropriate recommendations
  • Prepare quotes for renewals
  • Process transactions: Book premium, issue binders and issue policies supporting several segments of specialty business and multiple product
  • Develop and establish relationships with brokers
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve customer satisfaction, profit and goals
  • Consistently work towards differentiating the companies service capabilities
  • Miscellaneous duties as requested

Must Haves:

  • Excellent customer service skills – experience in dealing with brokers is an asset
  • Proven ability to solve problems independently and with success
  • Ability to respond as a team player, in a multi-task environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to follow-up independently
  • Strong communications skills; both oral and written
  • CIP designation or completed CIP courses considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
